Knowledge formalisation with the language UML to support forest fire behaviour modelling

Résumé

We present the knowledge formalization for forest fire behaviour modelling. The UML modelling language was used to model the process of experiments in a natural field. A general structure of an information system from data measurements realized with UML is presented. A prototype of a knowledge management, MODELLIS, was elaborated to support modellers in the management of data from experimental sites.
