Résumé
The article deals with the topic of « gray areas » in two parts. The first part presents an analysis of the similarities of this phenomenon in the case of Mexico and Colombia and more precisely in the State of Sinaloa and the department of Caquetá respectively. Therefore, in the second part, the divergences of the phenomenon are studied in both cases. The aim is to critically and comparatively study this issue in the democratic states in order to draw fruitful conclusions for future studies.
